My husband and I ate at Poole’s for the first time last night for our wedding anniversary. We arrived around 7 and did have about a half hour wait, which we spent walking around downtown until they texted us.

1) I went here on a Monday night at 9pm 2) Staff was more interested in sitting around eating their free entrees of the night than engaging the customers 3) Every menu scribbled on chalkboards overheard that if you don't have the greatest eyes or...More

At Poole's Diner, you can't reserve. You have to go down there and wait with all of the other people who want to eat there. We were told it would be about a 45 minute wait. This turned out to be a bit of a...More

That Ashley Christensen is a god is unquestioned. That this initial Mt Olympus of hers is worth climbing to dine at the feet of the gods is why I write. Yes, oh my god, yes. I've been to Poole's since the day it opened and...More

My wife and I recently had brunch at Poole's on a Saturday afternoon. We have eaten dinner at Poole's numerous times and the food is always fantastic, but we had never tried their brunch menu. As expected, our meals were great. My wife had a...More

No wait at 530. After that depends on evening. We have always gone early because we have heard it could be an hour wait

Casual They want you to enjoy the food. It's not about the place or the special decor. It's the food that's the feature.
