We were staying downtown and "discovered" this gem within walking distance of the hotel. Great food, service, and beer/wine selections. Will definitely go again, the next time in town.

The menu was pricey. Decent drink selection. Double shot drinks were worth it. The oysters were pretty good.

The food here is excellent even if your not a lover of seafood. There is something for everyone! There were 10 of us in our party and we all had different dishes. Everyone's was superb. Entertainment added a nice touch! I really can't wait till...More

Started with seafood bisque which was pretty good. Had bacon wrapped scallops for entree, a dish which is seemingly hard to get wrong but it was extremely bland and flavorless. It was served over grits which was the worst part, grits tasted gritty and were...More

Great place for a delicious seafood meal! A lively atmosphere, very loud but not in a bad way! Our waitress was knowledgeable, professional and wanted us to enjoy!

42nd Street has a special place in my heart because they offer a great music and great dancing. However, the food is only middle of the road. Definitely go there to see live bands and dance! Do not bother eating there.

I stopped for dinner at the RDU terminal location of the 42nd Street Oyster Bar. It should be listed separately on TripAdvisor because the downtown location and the airport restaurant may be entirely different. My review pertains solely to the airport location. We had dinner,...More

Just stumbled on this restaurant while waiting for my flight out of Raleigh. The service was excellent, my server was really good. He made excellent recommendation which I thoroughly enjoyed. The crab cake was so good. I will go back to this brand another time.
