Servers were nice and food was good. I had the barbacoa tacos. The bartender, Jordan (if I remember correctly), was really nice. She was surprised I just said hi while waiting to be served (I'm a considerate customer and don't demand service when server busy with other customers). She was helpful in choosing local beers.

Enjoyed a late night drink at World of Beer. Was expecting a boys bar and it was much better than I expected. Great. knowledgeable and helpful service, weird and wonderful beers and some good wines for those of us not wanting a beer. Great atmosphere and well worth a visit. If you are a UK visit, like me, who was... More

Relaxing, easy going and fun! We like to sit outside, even when it's cold. They have the heaters and it's awesome. Order from Piola, you'll be glad you did!

Can't beat the taco deal on Tuesdays: $2.50 and they are not puny tacos. But, some of the other dishes are just odd. Example: golfball-sized sliders on buns that are way too big for them. We ordered a disappointing "greens and kale" salad. There were no greens, and the kale had not been stripped of any tough stems. I kinda... More

Great beer Just not really family style. Hence the name I am sure. We stopped here with a 12 year old for a quick bite (family of 3). My hubby and I loved it. my son not so much lol.

This visit was just okay. Would've rated it a lot higher if I hadn't slipped on an unnecessarily un-mopped wet floor and hurt my knee. The bartender was okay when he was present. Plenty of beer to choose from.. almost like a world of beer to choose from.

Every time I am in the RDU area, I come to this place. It's always packed, but that does not take away from the fact that it is a great place to slug some beers after a long/trip. It's near all the hotels you want to stay at. So, come, get loaded, and walk home.

We came in only to get drinks while waiting for something and despite them being insanely busy on a Friday night, we still received a table and got awesome service by our fabulous server named Alisha! It's too bad we didn't get to try their food tonight. Their pretzels looked delicious! I highly recommend WoB and can't wait to go... More

This is a great place to go have a beer and enjoy it while sitting outside and enjoying the weather. The patio area is good sized and they have heaters when the weather is cold. They have a great selection of rotating taps and bottle beers. They can also make cocktails for the non beer lovers.

This was our first visit. We sat outside with our pup and enjoyed the ambience. My husband had Sinful Cider and I had the raspberry sangria, which was amazing! We got an order of honey hot wings and they were the best wings we've ever had. Tots were good too and whatever they put in the ranch was perfect. Our... More
