We usually go to the Wake Forest location where the food has been good. At this location, I ordered the brisket mac n cheese which was a special of the day. There may have been some tiny bits of brisket present but it was hard to tell. The entire dish was covered in tex-mex seasoning that overpowered any other flavor.... More

My wife and I just wanted a quick dinner and a beer. So we stopped in the Ale House. I had the chicken tacos and she had the sliders. Both meals were good, but the sliders were better. They have a lot of local beers on tap. The service was good. The place seems like a great sports bar.

I have been to ale house lots over the years, but my visit today most likely will be my last. Party of 11, family from out of town as I had gone before thought it would be great. Arrive at 1220, sat quickly but as we had called ahead and said party of 11. Tables were set up for 9.... More

My family and I visited after a movie for a quick bite. We were nite greeted at the door so finally, I went to seek out a host. I found a young lady cleaning a table and requested she help. She was able to get us and another couple seated. Once getting to our table, the waiter spilled a glass... More

Enjoyed the Carolina Ale House. The service was great and they were very attentive. The food was good and the atmosphere was great for a sports bar.

Me and my friends came here to watch one of the final games. The food was great and it's a fun laid back atmosphere to go to watch sports! :o)

I wouldn't mind going here to watch Monday night football, the women's World Cup game or an EPL Saturday match. I don't recommend going here for a conversation with friends or a business associate, it's way too loud to hear anything. Food was ok, a little too salty for my tastes! I like to taste my food, and by the... More

We went to dinner on a Tuesday night, so it wasn't crowded and we were seated right away. While we were being seated, even before we sat down, our drink order was taken. It was nice to get our drinks so fast, but it was odd to not even sit down before we were asked. Our server took our food... More

Great selection of beers, especially those on tap. Lots of screens for watching football too. The service was a little bit slow, but it was late evening on Thanksgiving, so I'm sure they weren't staffed heavily. Also they had a great deal on Goose Island IPA ($2.50 drafts). All in all a great experience, we will go back again tonight.

Went here on a Saturday night around 10 and it was no where near crowded or busy. Our server rarely checked on us and we had to keep flagging her down. If that wasn't bad enough she messed up on two of our bills. After that we notice that they add a 18% gratuity in on our checks and it... More
