Oro is a true tapas restaurant with exceptional small plates in an elegant, contemporary setting tucked into a downtown corner. We like it for spontaneous suppers for two or a quick drink in the beautiful bar, with a plate or two to stand in for dinner. It's a dinner-only restaurant, but its Sunday hours make it a good place to... More

Our group of 6 was excited to try Oro which came highly recommended. The restaurant is very inviting with the decor and color pallet- the first floor has large windows while street views are available on the second level. Everything is very open and clean. We liked that fact that we could try many different options instead of everyone ordering... More

ORO is one of my favorite places to eat in Raleigh. The food is awesome, small plates, upscale Tapas and great drinks. Have the truffled mac and cheese, and the campfire for desert. Try and have a drink at the bar. The TV screens are embedded into the mirrors. The owners are awesome people and i highly recommend Oro when... More

Very impressed! High quality food creatively prepared. You are encouraged to share which was fun. Wide variety. We had grilled octopus, truffle mac & cheese, crab cakes, tilefish, an artesanal cheese plate, & a really nice llama malbec. Short walk to Meymandi concert hall. Kudos!

We met up with a large group of friends for restaurant week. The wait staff was amazing, very attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely delicious. I can't comment on cost of food since it was a set price for restaurant week. We're glad we tried this restaurant, and will definitely be going back! The only reason I didn't give... More

A group of 4 went for Triangle Restaurant Week. They had the prix fixe menu and their normal menu available. We started with a few of their specialty cocktails - No Pagne, No Gain and a Moscow Mule - both were excellent. We had the Corn Chowder and the Roasted Cauliflower Gratin for apps - both were great - I... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at ORO. It was a great opportunity for our teenage son to try some unique foods he had never had without the need to order an entire entree. We must say that we felt put off by a couple staff members that were a little snobbish. Maybe we didn't behave or dress like the... More

Was here for a work meeting with colleagues, and everyone loved it. The sesame cauliflower was outstanding, as was the truffle mac and cheese. And the mirrors over the bar turn into TVs to watch the game!
