Four of us went to Capital Club 16 for dinner last night. We had walked past it on the way to another restaurant a week ago and it looked interesting so we decided to give it a try. We made a reservation for 6pm. It's important to understand that the open promptly at 6 so if you arrive early, you... More

The food was delicious and this would have been a five star review -except we were given no time to enjoy our meal. Seated we ordered a drink. When our drink arrived, we ordered our meal. We had had three sips of our drinks and our meal was served. Our water glasses were never refilled; our coffee was not refilled;... More

Cool little spot. Had the shrimp and grits with a Fried egg. Portion was fine for me but for a man it might have been a little light. But really good. Great atmosphere.

When I moved to downtown, this was the first restaurant I tried. It's still my go to place for lunch or for dinner. Their Sunday brunch is another steady meeting spot for downtowners. The atmosphere is a classy casual, always busy with business lunches, and packed with the after work crowd in the afternoons. Every dish is good. The pimento... More

The family 8 of us had brunch on Sunday the 16th of October. It was a good thing that 3 others did not go, we may not have been accomondated. We arrived close to 130p and was first told we would not be able to eat, reservations were needed. I advised your website do not mention advance reservations or I... More

Loved the atmosphere of this downtown Raleigh restaurant. I met my family here for dinner. We loved the variety of cheeses, bread/ crackers, fruit, nuts and honey as an appetizer. I ordered the Farmers Wife - a healthy serving of fresh market vegetables. There was butternut squash, asparagus, fried okra, salad greens with a tangy dressing that was super delicious... More

Let me start out with the positive. Capital Club 16 has very good customer service, excellent waitstaff and a beautiful atmosphere. I made a reservation for 6 people for Saturday night and received a confirmation call the day of which I always appreciate. It tells me that the restaurant is on top of their business. The location of Capital Club... More

The atmosphere is great, reminds you of the calm and luxury of the cafes and bars of the 1940s. The sandwiches are all great, but I like the roast turkey sandwich. Their fries are also incredible. Service is great. Dining area is a little small, so if you go during the busiest hours, you may have to wait for a... More

We stopped to meet one of our previous awesome coworkers who moved to Raleigh. She recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Great menu selections at reasonable prices. I had the schnitzel with homemade fries. Absolutely excellent. In addition to the great food, their deco is recycled from NY. Great atmosphere and service.
