Stopped in quickly this morning on the way to a meeting in town at Wake Tech. Guy behind the counter was very friendly, and upon asking what my decaf options were, was shocked to hear that he could make anything on the list decaf! This is rare, especially at a smaller shop. They also had almond milk. Coffee was good,... More

Locally-owned, serving local coffee. This place is great. The owners know their coffee and go out of their way to brew you a perfect cup. Always suggesting something different and are very creative in their offerings. Starbucks could take lessons from their offerings and service.

The single most unfriendly and unappealing independent coffee shop I've ever visited. Who was that grumpy woman behind the counter? Drip coffee was watery, place was overrun with students from the local community college, one of whom was shining a laser pointer in my face until I confronted him and asked him to stop. Didn't even try the wi-fi connection.... More

I will admit, I had pulled into the parking lot to walk into the grocery store that had a Starbucks inside. However, I decided to walk across to the 'other' coffee bar across the street. (1) They have almond milk! It baffles me why the local coffee bars can always carry it but Starbucks can't (2) I was greeted with... More

I love local coffee businesses. This one just happens to be conveniently close to my house! The owner is super friendly and often will give you a sample of a friends drink if you all order different drinks. He is super creative with his seasonal specialty drinks, and he will even accommodate the non coffee lover. Whatever you do, make... More

Good selection of coffees and teas with some pastries available. The owner is friendly. They also offer wall space to local artists so they have new art work every month or so. There is also a give-a-book/take-a-book library. I stop here once or twice a week.
