Good, home-cooked food. The calabash shrimp is delicious, and the salad/food bar is plentiful. Slaw is very good.

We had been advised that this place was "nothing special" but we always saw a packed parking lot and it was convenient for where we were and what we had to do so we tried it. It was very clean and the staff was very pleasant but the food is mediocre, at least the hot bar, which we both had,... More

Been by the restaurant several times, and noticed that the parking lot was most always full - a good sign - so I had to check it out for lunch when I was in the area again. Sadly, the buffet was not up (the menu said on weekdays, so MY fault), but the salad bar was up and running, and... More

Always have to eat here when in the mountains! Been around a long time. First ate when it was across the highway as a newly wed! Been coming back for 42 years :) Just good, down home cooking at a reasonable price. This is where the locals eat.

I enjoyed a casual supper with hubby. Fish flavors were good. I will go back...try it when you are in the mood for a low key, non meat meal.

Have been here multiple times. The pie is outstanding AND often sells out. Order it the minute you're seated, then worry about the meal to precede it!

I've been eating at the Pisgah Fish Camp for years. I typically never eat fried food, but cannot resist their fried flounder. The hush puppies are always wonderful, as are their sides. The waitresses are always friendly and the speedy service is refreshing.

We stopped at the Pisgah Fish Camp for lunch. We did the buffet. The salad bar was good and I had the fried shrimp on the buffet. It was a good value.

They do not pretend to be anything they are not... They are a great local 'fish camp' They are clean, the service is great. We were in Brevard a week and Miram, Laura and Emily stood out as star performers. The Salmon is amazing. The salad bar exceeds expectations as does the shrimp cocktail. The prices are more than fair... More
