This restaurant is air conditioned and the food was great! Two very important things you need at the beach especially when you are so hot. I was there with a large group of 13 and they accommodated us for dinner one night, they knew we had a sunset cruise booked and was able to serve us and get us out... More

Our favorite place on Ocracoke! Whether you are dressed up and dining in or outside on the patio the ambiance is so relaxing. They have offer pizza from a wood fired oven... the pizza is expensive but delicious. The open bar area is a great place to gather.

very friendly, as we came in about 2.30 for late lunch. they provided extra ceasar salad, when we only asked to share one. then we did not like peppers in vegetables, and they made special veggies for us - local fresh seafood was excellent!

I have gone to Dajio nearly every time I have visited Oracoke for the past several years and have recommended it. But I went last night and was so disappointed in the visit. Even decent restaurants can have their moments. I went to the bar area and seated myself. No one came so I went up to the bar thinking... More

My husband and I took a moonlight kayak tour with Ride the Wind (great experience by the way) and got off the water at 9:15 and needed some dinner but most places stop serving at 9. We had to run back to our B & B to change clothes and picked up a pizza in the rear of the restaurant.... More

Was here a couple years ago and loved it. Had another great meal during this visit, and altho the patio is awesome, I would suggest sitting inside or at the bar if you are eating

Dajio never fails to deliver. Don't hesitate....go now. Shrimp Happy Hour is cool. It is also the home of the best grilled cheese and the BEST burger I have tasted...and I have eaten many. It was Angus beef on a ciabata roll with gruyere and bacon. Best ever.hands down. Girilled cheese is awesome too...must try if you are a grilled... More

This is our 4th visit in 4 years. Very consistent and always interesting. Service was very good and the outdoor seating is just the icing on the cake. We will return

We went to Dajio for breakfast before catching the ferry back to Cedar Island. What a pleasant surprise. The menu is not your typical American breakfast. I had their Eggs Oscar, which is a combination of parts of eggs benedict and veal Oscar. Great combination, and a lot of food. My wife a got an apple pancake that was great... More
