Like the reviews before me, I also will no longer eat at this Jersey Mikes because of the flies. It's a shame because I loooove their Club Supreme, but they need to get lids to cover the food (like Subway) at a bare minimum. I...don't know why there's always so many flies in this location. It's been that way for as long as I can remember. Right when the girl was almost finished making my Club Supreme, a fly landed right smack on it and stayed there for 3-4 seconds. I am an avid Jersey Mike's goer. I was in town for work, and decided to get subs for my staff as a treat for their hardwrok. When i arrived at Jersey Mikes, I noticed there were tons of flies. I understand that the occassional...pesky fly is bound to enter a restaraunt, and I am not one to normally complain, but the amount of flies in their location was appalling. Not only were there tons of flies, they didn't have the food covered, and didn't appear to be doing anything to keep them from the food. I always eat there when I am in town, and regularly by multiple subs when treating the team at my office, and sadly will not be going back until the fly situation is undercontrol.More

Jersey Mikes is hands down my favorite sub place. I used to eat here regularly and cater sandwiches for my entire office from Jersey Mikes. Unfortunately, about a year ago when I went in there there were flies everywhere. Landing on the toppings and crawling...all over the food. I cancelled my order while it was being preparred and walked out. I decided to give it a try again last week. SAME ISSUE. The food is really good here, but I cant bring myself to eat here because of this fly situation! PLEASE INSTALL FLY FANS AT THE DOORS!! I BEG YOU! Jersey Mikes has the best subs in New Bern, but we can't eat there because of the disgusting flies everywhere. Can I please get a sub - hold the fly spit? Management, please do something about this issue - your customers miss your food. My employees were so dissapointed when I told them we were going to have to get our food from somewhere else.More

Have tried most of the sandwiches but always return to the Italian. My husband likes them all . Staff not very welcoming but warms up if you start conversation

Jersey Mike's is one of my favorite sub shops. This one did not disappoint. It is located off of a service road and I had to look for it to not miss it. There is adequate parking and it is in a store front. The...day I went, I ordered the #9 club sandwich. The bread was fresh, meat sliced and cooked perfectly, toppings were nice and fresh. The person greeted me with a smile and the service was fast. I grabbed a combo and had a seat. It was rainy that day but I was pretty happy. I have also had their cheese steaks and sub in a tub. I have yet to be disappointed. Price is a little higher but it is worth it. Another tip...they are usually generous with meat and toppings so I recently traded my regular for a mini and can hardly tell the difference. It is still very filling.More

Located out by the airport, it is a franchise as we all know. But they have a great sub. Far better than the Sub-Way sub where you need to look hard to see the meat. I don't know what mayonnaise they use, but I have...to find out. And they have specials every day. My favorite Chain sub.More
