The food was decent - it seemed fresh. Service was friendly and quick. The problem was lack of seasoning. I tried my veggie burrito and some bean tacos, and they both seemed to have no seasoning at all - no spices, no sauce, just bland.

LOVE this place! Always have, ever since they opened. These wonderful ladies work their tail ends off and they do an amazing job at it. I'm here probably once a week, I honestly can never get enough. I try to get something different every time. Every thing I've had is more than 5 stars to me. It's always been more... More

SOOOOOO DELICIOUS!!! I have spent LOTS of time in Mexico, lived in Southern California & am VERY picky about what I eat...so many places 'claim' to be authentic or 'fresh', VIVA! truly is! Who would have thought that in the middle of the Outer Banks, NC you would find 'comida TAN rico!'?! I certainly didn't, but what an awesome surprise!... More

This place is perfect when you have your cravings of delicious, made in the spot Mexican food. Isabel and Blandy, the owners, are hard working people who are ready to get that food ready in minutes. Also, they have pretty much every famous brand of imported beer (Sol, Modelo, XX, Pacifico) and the delicious Jarritos for the little kids. I... More

I live and work on the Outer Banks and I can tell you that Viva is one of my go to places for lunch. I remember when they opened about 8 years ago. I was very excited because I'm a huge fan of tacos. I was impressed with Viva on that first visit 8 years ago and they've never let... More

This is a favorite Outer Banks spot for lunch and dinner. When you're looking for fresh food and friendly service but are short on time, this is the perfect spot. Food is always made to order, with smiles and caring attitude. Everything tastes great and prices are fair. My lunches are usually around $10. I love the tacos, burritos, nachos... More

The queso had no flavor but it that was okay. We had 2 burritos, chimichanga and chicken taco salad. Burritos were amazing and GREAT flavor. Chimichanga was great but came with black beans. Salad had a great she'll but not just what the kiddo wanted.

We found this grill by accident, we went next door to Dunkin Donuts and decided the next day to eat Mexican here. The food was very good and place was very clean. Good specials everyday. Nice and quiet, not very large. Will be visiting again on our next trip.
