Our son had eaten here while in Raleigh for business and suggested it. Large portions, very tasty! We each had something different in our group, and it was all good. It's a place your order and wait for your number to come up type restaurant.

My brother suggested we try Smokey's for one of our monthly lunch meetings, so we did. Smokey's advertises itself as a mix of Eastern NC and Western NC barbecue styles, and that's accurate. That means that the pulled pork, though it had good consistency, lacked...More

I've never had such amazing Cole slaw. The chicken and pork is divine, pulled/chopped. The BBQ isn't east Carolina style, and is so tasty. Hush puppies are crispy and the sweet potato tots, with cinnamon, and very good as well. The picnic area in the...More
