We make it a point to stop in and see Hank and Terry often. We love the pies that Terry makes. Sometime when we're coming back from Asheville we'll stop in for a beer and a piece of pie. Our current favorite is the butterscotch pie. The burgers are great with a side of the homemade fries or deep fried... More

First of all the "long necks" is in reference to giraffe, well that is what Hank said, and have many in the restaurant. While visiting my daughter in Marshall have driven by this restaurant many times, always saw cars, but the name and looks didn't seem that appealing. After seeing many cars in parking lot as we went by, checked... More

If you only make one stop in Marshall this is the place. We had a party of 9 and everyone left happy. The food was great and owner was entertaining. 2 of us had the rib special and it was great. The fries are fresh not frozen.

We visited today for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised because we didn't know what to expect since it was a bar. The owner greeted us at the door and was so colorful. We really enjoyed our visit. He and his wife were just wonderful. The food was home cooked and very good. We will definitely be back. It... More

We stopped in famished after a fun day on the river with Blue Heron white water rafting, which we also highly recommend! The food was excellent and the owners were very friendly, going out of their way to make us feel welcomed, they even ended up helping us find a place to stay for the night - here! What a... More

We just got barbecue to go. It was smoked and had mustard sauce. Average to better than average. Couple who run it very nice. Only open Wed-Sun lunch and dinner. Looks like and has a bar, pool table, but also has a really good looking menu and many, many interesting beers.

I drove by it often always meaning to stop in. What a great place to stop for a cold one and great food! Hank the owner always has a good story and his wife is the chef and makes great food and deserts in the back. We make it a point to stop in when we're in the area.
