While at Maggie Valley recently we ate at numerous restaurants. Most were so-so, several were terrible. The Mountaineer restaurant was recommended to us as a suggestion. We found the Mountaineer to be our favored place to eat at Maggie Valley. Breakfasts and lunches very-very good....More

I travel through Maggie Valley for business and always eat breakfast here if I can time it right. It's like eating at grandma's house in it's décor and has amazing mountain views. The food is consistently good and you get plenty to eat. The staff...More

Awesome lunch. The best Rueben sandwich I have had in 20 years. Good service and great food. Found it while looking for some place to turn around to get back to downtown Maggie Valley.

Nicest people I met the whole time in Maggie Valley. Went 3times for breakfast. The owner came out from the kitchen and talked with us. The waitress was a real sweetheart. Breakfast was very good.

We had the ceasar sald and the cocount shrimp. Both were very good. I enjoyed the raspberry sauce for dipping the shrimp in. Pation offers wonderful views of the smoky mountains. Service was attentive and fast.

This little restaurant is an out of the way gem set in the Smokey Mountains. Not much to look at from the outside, the food and service was great. Fresh caught fish and local delicacies were on the menu and a competent yet friendly waitress...More
