I had the combo plate comprised of fried chicken & Bar BQ. It was wonderful. The chicken was fried just perfect & the Bar BQ was seasoned just right. I would eat there again when traveling through NC. I wish we had this resturant in...More

The fried chicken is very good. The sides were tasty, but a little too sweet. The setting was very clean, comfortable, and visually appealling.

5 or 6 couples from our Sunday School class meet here for lunch most Sundays after church. We like that we can enjoy smaller portions of SCNB regionally famous eastern Carolina barbecue, fried chicken like mama used to make, or Brunswick stew. The food is...More

Delicious and reasonably priced! We loved the huge chicken tenders, hushpuppies, and the pulled BBQ sandwich. Well staffed, 3 cashiers, food was ready promptly, and several staff were monitoring the dining room to deliver food, refill drinks, and check on the guests.

My family and I stopped here on our Road trip to and from Florida. I was pleased with the friendly service. The dinning area was clean and the food was good. I would recommend eating here.

Great fried Chicken, Hush puppies and cole slaw. Prices are very reasonable. Service was excellent. Chicken was fresh, not greasy and flavorful!

Looking for something different that we do not have up north, Smithfield's was indeed a good choice. It is around the corner from the new Hampton Inn. I tried the combo platter. The chicken was perfect, not too spicy, beats the Colonel's which has gone...More

This is the closest and most available Smithfield's barbeque close to I-95. The staff is extremely helpful and positive. The sandwiches and food is unique to the region and are a bucket list item that you'll want to make tradition. Sweet tea is very traditionally...More

The one we were at did not. I'd guess most don't unless you find a big box store close that you can park in while you go eat.
Do you have carryout or takeout?
