1841 Café is a very nice restaurant with piano key board playing most nights. They offer a full bar with wine and beer. The menu is limited but has enough items to fit most appetites. I like their hamburgers which are hand made patties. I also love their Cajon style chicken/mushroom pasta Alfredo. Vickie the owner puts her heart an... More

Decided to stop in for lunch, since we were in the area. A variety of options on the lunch menu (salads, soups, sandwiches) and full entrees on Saturdays. I had the fried green tomato BLT (a southern twist). My hubby had the chicken salad croissant (which he liked). A variety of children's menu options too. A pretty good meal for... More

Had to wait a few minutes to get seated. It was Lunch..but didn't seem packed but a lot of tables were taken. Service was good..attentive. The wings are very good. And the minimum order was four (50 cent wings!)...which I thought was great. The blackened chicken pita was good...but I don't suggest the mac and cheese. The cheese was too... More

Checked out Lenoir possibilities for lunch. This looked like the best bet. Old hardware/furniture store with atmosphere.service was very good and friendly. Lunch food was good...nothing great or creative, but beyond serviceable. Nice selection of local beers and looked like you could find a reasonable bottle of wine. This may well be the best restaurant in Lenoir NC.

This is an old hardware store from the 1800s that is converted to a restaurant. It is locally owned and operated. The food is good, the service is great, and the local music especially nightly shows how much talent is in this city.

The food was alright it was a little bland. The table we sat at was an old door that they made into a table. It was so top heavy I had to use my knee to hold up the end of the table and the entire table moved when I used my knife to cut my food. So ask for... More

Got Sarah(?) last time we were here. She was nice and accomadating and gave great suggestions for apps. The half priced nachos are a favorite. Come once a week and always have great service.

We have visited here several times for lunch and dinner. Always excellent food and service. The old historic building adds to the chsrm. Prices are not bad. They even have live entertainment at night on the weekends.

Thank Karen C
