Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Chef is very talented. We own a cottage on parlee and love to grab a bite when at the beach. I definitely recommend the buttermilk chicken burger, the lobster roll, and the poutine but you cant go wrong with anything because it is all done...to perfection. I really can’t understand why this place would have any bad reviews. Staff is very friendly and the food is delicious with a nice view of the beach from the outdoor patio.More

This beach canteen is not your average canteen! It is now in its second season of being operated by the creative culinary couple who introduced Euston Park Social beer garden to Moncton. Everything they create is delicious. Awesome menu. Craft beer. Beautiful ocean view patio....My kids beg to go back for the chicken burger which is like no other.More

My hubby and I strolled up, ordered draught beer on tap and fish tacos. Heard it was new management and new menu. They did not disappoint!! Hubby had Parm and truffle fries with his fish tacos. I had the fries cooked with light crumb batter...with my tacos. The view is amazing too! Manager brought our food out to the second floor deck looking out over the beach. Great afternoon!!More

I have a cottage near Parlee Beach and visited the restaurant recently with my kids. The kids ordered a hot dog and fries and I had the lobster roll. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. The view of the ocean and...the beach from the outdoor patio was very nice as well. I have eaten a lot of lobster rolls in my day and I have never had a lobster roll even close to as good as the one I had here. By far and away the best lobster roll I have ever had and it's not even close. I would highly recommend this restaurant.More

We have a cottage at Parlee Beach and always enjoyed our walk across the bridge of the now much contaminated stream to the restaurant for a evening meal or snack, but not this year. Closure probably has to due with the bad publicity, which is...ultimately an issue of dis-regard and ignorance of our over paid, incompetent Provincial Government representatives whom do not want to deal with.More

Considering this was only their second day of being open for the year, you'd think they'd have their stuff together. Only 3 out of 4 of the women's bathrooms even had toilet paper, so right off of the bat they're not off to a good...start. Disappointed we paid $13 to park for what we received; Only half of the drink menu was available and even less of the food menu. From what we did order, it was all pretty bland, under cooked and nothing special for the price. Sweet potato fries were not near cooked enough and came with a dip that tasted like nothing. Burger was tiny, best thing about it was the fries but for $17 I'm sure we could have found some somewhere else for half the price. Mac N Cheese bites were ok but came with no dip- when we asked for some hot sauce the server wanted to charge us $2!!! What a joke. Will never return here again.More

One of the better beach restaurants that I have been to. Good bar food combined with one of the best Caesars drinks ever! Pricing is reasonable too.

Just visited and ordered ice cream from the canteen. Wow, the girls working have pretty bad attitudes for a couple of teens who get to work at beach all summer. Got my order wrong, then treated me like a) it was my fault, and b)...that it was a huge inconvenience to re-scoop a baby-sized ice cream. I'm sure there are many, many other people who would appreciate this job more than they do!More

We sat on the patio which has a nice view. After waiting ten minutes for a server, walked to bar to get drinks. Ten minutes later still no server or menus. The patio and restaurant were about half full, would hate to see if it...was busy. Finally got server's attention (after serving people that arrived after us). Food did come out fairly quickly after that. Fish and chips and scallops were average, the waffle fries were all stuck together, so didn't eat those. I guess when you are only open for two months of the year, you don't get much opportunity to develop a quality food program and standards of service. Last year showed some significant improvements, but looks like it's back to the old ways again. Too bad, it is a nice building, just no management of the staff, who seem to wander around like they are lost. On the positive side, the servers were friendly and apologized for the wait.More
