We've tried dinner at several places on main st, black rose was our best choice so far. Our appetizer arrived quickly and our meal shortly after that. We had Irish nachos and Reubens. No complaints on the food, and the prices were good. They had a long list of beers, no shortage there and our appeared the was a full... More

Serving staff were inattentive. Condiments requested were never brought to table. Had to stop waitress as she passed table to request drink refill. When food was delivered to table, I ordered a beer from the bar. By the time I got it, I was half finished with my meal. The beer sat at the servers pickup area for 5 minutes.... More

It pains me to write this, as the name of this establishment promises a pub experience worthy of a back alley in Galway, however it is neither an authentic pub nor the usual American restaurant status quo in service. We have been there many times, and, a few years ago, there were more options and the servers were friendly and... More

We have been here before and will return. Terrific fish and chips, pour on malt vinegar and down some beer. 36 on tap. Great pub food and good price. Our server, Sam, was professional and charming. She anticipated our needs!

If you're looking for a typical friendly neighborhood pub, then this is the place-burgers, fries, bangers and mash, fish and chips are all good choices. Lots of local brewery beers on tap, long gathering tables, TV screens, helpful wait staff make you glad you stopped by. Don't expect a classy joint or spacious booths to sit in and you won't... Tried to stop in after the Playhouse Show for drinks. The only way this was going to happen was if this was a self-serve establishment. Seemed like we needed to be you of your pleasant locals to get help. Saving our money to spend back in our hometown.

For being a pub in the Carolina's the brew list was not as good as it should be. The 4 of us each ordered entrees and they were ok but we weren't scraping our plates. I ordered the Shepherd's pie and it was good because it wasn't 3/4 mashed potatoes like most pubs make. The bangers & mash was average.... More

There are plenty of choices for great eating on Main Street but if you want great bangers and mash or the very best burger....this is the place. The only down side is when during the lunch hour some rowdy folks crowd the bar and are oblivious to other patrons. The staff is so nice they avoid confrontations, grrrrr. Staff is... More

This place has been around for a while, but unless you eat meat and fried food, it's not a good place . The salads are boring, and service is slow. My husband likes it, but he likes burgers, ruebens, and wings. Appetizers are typical pre made, frozen bar food types. Many times they are out of ingredients for drinks like... More

Best Burgers I've had anywhere in the region. Very friendly staff, and televisions for football watching. The fries are outstanding as well. Go hungry!
