I made my way to the Hendersonville Community Co-op in search of yogurt starter to make homemade Greek yogurt. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this well-stocked and attractive market. I really appreciate the bulk section where I can find herbs and spices in small quantities so they remain fresh in my pantry. There is very good organic meat/seafood... More

Yesterday was the first time I've eaten lunch at the Co-op. They are conveniently located on Spartanburg Highway. There are several options for lunch. I ordered a Cuban sandwich off the menu. It was very good but for $10 it was a little expensive. There are other less expensive options in the cooler which I didn't realize until after I... More

I have been a member of this co-op for about 27 years and have enjoyed watching it grow from a little place on the back side a building with part-time hours to the modern, full-service store and restaurant that it is today. It is small and easy to shop in with a good selection of fresh organic produce and meat,... More

Excellent steaks, lamb chops, and pork. I was getting despondent about the quality of American meat, now I found a true organic meat butchery, definitely recommended for buying meat from here.

They moved into a new building earlier in the year, so spacious, clean and lots to offer. The food prepared there is very very good! Wonderful selection on their salad bar. I could eat there every day! Lots of gluten free items. Will be returning a lot.

Love the HCC. Its new location is very nice and the individuals who run the vitamin and homeopathic area are very knowledgeable. It is rather pricey, but what isn't when you buy organic or gluten free. The prepared food is delicious.

The co-op does have a food bar as well as they will make smoothies and sandwiches however it is not a restaurant, it's a community co-op market. Great selection of organic fruit and veg, breads, local meat, fish and cheeses. I love the co-op! The new location is beautiful and much larger thus more delicious offerings.
