Four of us went here to dinner on Sunday evening. We had flounder, Alaskan White Fish, shrimp, fried clam strips and chicken. My mother's boyfriend was thrilled to get a side of collard greens (living in NY, he hadn't had these in several years). Not only was all the food very good, there was too much of it -- lunch... The food here is typical "seafood" fare but consistently goo with good portion sizes and good deal for the money spent. The food is either fried or grilled upon request for about a dollar extra. The lunch menu is very well priced and within the budget. The salt and pepper catfish is always delicious although sometimes a little greasy.

The food always good and the staff very friendly. You must let Pam serve you, she is the bomb.com. If you go there hungry, the supply of food will meet your need, but you WILL not be able to consume it all. It is the best Seafood restaurant in a non-coastal city that I ever eaten at.

Dinner tonight was at Captain Steve's. I know I've written two other reviews on this restaurant, but we got different items and I remembered to take pictures this time. Captain Steve's is located on Hwy 49 in Harrisburg. It is large and has a large room and a separate large area with booths and tables for large parties. We ate... More

Good variety of food - all great - my favorite is their oysters - fresh & breaded - If one in your party doesn't like fish, no problem. Plenty of other options.

A great place for dinner when extended family members are visiting from out of town. I had a mini family reunion for the weekend and we decided to have dinner here. We were greeted and seated immediately and had a little bit of a delay in getting our food since the resteraunt was busy on a Saturday night. Our food... More

This place is always packed on the weekends. I usually get take out and when I do, it's standing room only in the little place you order to go. We've had the salt and pepper catfish and deviled crab and my daughter's had the salt and pepper chicken strips. Our food has always been good and there's always plenty of... More

We are from out of town and decided to give this place a try even though there were tons of options near our hotel, we drove a few miles to check this place out. The last time we visited Capt. Steve’s in Harrisburg, my whole flounder was overcooked and tough. That is not the Capt. Steve’s I know and love. We decided to eat there last week and I was very happy. I again ordered the whole flounder and it was cooked perfectly. I ordered the onion rings which need a plate all their... More
