A number of friends highly recommended this out of the way spot and I gave it a try much to my dismay. The B-B-Q was average at best and the sides almost deplorable and limited. Stopped by early evening for a pulled pork dinner. I was disappointed to note that the pork wasn't hot and that the sauce they provided was apparently just out of the refrigerator. I'm not sure of the exact time of my visit, but it was...well before closing time and other patrons came in while was eating my coolish meal.More

Sauces are Western, but meat is good and cooked just right. Beans and slaw are great. Buns are especially good too. I prefer NC style (Lexington or Eastern), but must admit this was good "Q." You order from the counter and the food is brought...to you on brown paper. You also get all the soft ice cream you can eat free. Try it. I think you'll agree pork lovers will like it here..More

I heard this place was good and happened to see it driving through town on Labor Day. I got their BBQ sandwich and a side of macaroni. I thought it was excellent. I got it as a to go order, i got 2 kinds of...sauces to try on my sandwich and the coleslaw on the BBQ was fresh and crisp. The man that waited on me said he was a customer at one time and loved it so much he started working there. That's good to hear!More

Just passing through and needed some dinner. I had the pork sandwich and my wife had the brisket. Both were excellent. Decor is basic cafeteria, but we were there for the BBQ. Highly recommend.

Dickey's catered an event we attended. The barbecue was tasty and not real greasy. The sauces were also great. The price was very reasonable for catering. Enjoy!

Like just about everyone else in the world, I consider myself a fan of good barbecue. You will get very good barbecue here at Dickies (try the Brunswick stew) but I do think the price is higher than it should be. I can go to...Hendersonville and get barbecue that is equally as good for a lot less money. Still, if you're in Fletcher and craving barbecue, you ought to try DickiesMore

Food here was very good and reasonably priced, but the staff was not very welcoming. When I tried to give the lady behind the counter my order, she told me to wait a minute. Didn't apologize for my wait or didn't seem to notice there...was about 8 people behind me waiting.More

Dickey's is great for when that craving for BBQ becomes unbearable and you just have to have some and you want it NOW.

We eat at Dickey's often. We also order their new and bring it home to have now baked potatoes often. It is a clean and family friendly. There is great out door space to eat as well.

Used the take out option. The meal is not orgsnic. Generous portions. Not really eastern or piedmont style. Good for a quick meal, but better choices available in the area.
