I have to say that the beef tips I had were awesome and the sweet potato was done and my salad was fresh. The waitress did a fine job on my drinks and was very sweet to my grandson who was celebrating his birthday.

The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was the OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD karaoke, we moved outside because of it. The waitress was a 20 year old sweetheart, nice, big smile and gave us recommendations. Id go back again! The steak and shrimp jambalaya was excellent!

Ate lunch. Baked potato on lunch menu tasted like it was left over from the night before. It was luke warm and would barely melt butter. Lunch grilled chicken was tasty. Bread was good but not warm enough to melt butter.Lunch grillled sirloin had gristle that ran through the entire piece of meat. Tea was very good. Waitress was good.... More

The food was decent but pricey for the atmosphere. It is very loud and hall"ish" It is however one of the better restaurants in Elkin. The New Orleans Sirloin was kind of tough.Overall we would return but knowing we'll spend a lot and the food will be average. Maybe they'll surprise us if we have low expectations. TV's hanging around... More

The atmosphere was very good, except that there had apparently been a soft ball or base ball tournament that week-end and the kids were very excited. A lot of running around, not to say that would not have been me at that age. It was a little distracting, but no fault of the restaurant. Our waitress was exceptionally good. I... More

We really enjoyed our time with friends at Dodge City Steak House, the food was great, my husband had a New York Strip and l had grilled Mahi Mahi, they were both cooked to order. The service was super, our waitress kept us in fresh drinks and rolls, she even got us fresh coffee while we sit and talked with... More

Wow! What a nice change - friendly folks, great food (worked with gluten-free restrictions), relaxed atmosphere. This steak house is only open Thursday - Sunday however (so sad). Our waitress Meghan was just super (any waitress who deals with food allergies well is a treasure!) The food was great - steaks done nicely - but the veggies were truly wonderful!... More

Sometimes this restaurant is good and sometimes it's really bad. This is why we have nicknamed it 50-50 because you have a 50% chance that it will be a good experience and a 50% chance it will not. Menu has a good range of items and prices, but the staff seems to be operating in another dimension.

Recently tried Dodge City with our best friends. I had the fillet, it was very flavorful and tender. Others at the table had fillet, sirloin, and tips -- everyone was very pleased with their meal. The waitress was attentive without being overly so. A nice place to visit with friends, and have a reasonably priced delicious meal.
