The food is outstanding and well prepared. The drinks are well made. The wine list is stunning with a broad variety at a reasonable price.

Stopped into Rue Cler for dinner while in Durham. It’s described as a comfy French Bistro. We loved the food, but I’d call it energetic as opposed to comfy only because of the physical plant with its high ceilings, concrete walls and large glass windows...More

We were meeting with h friends after work in Durham. We thought this place would be different and it was. Delicious cheeses and appetizers, interesting cocktails, delicious entrees and unique deserts. The hangar steak was cooked to perfection, salads had really good greens. Atmosphere was cozy.

Durham is full of good restaurants--chose a different one, it will probably be better. Perhaps they didn't pay their heating bill on the day we went, but it was uncomfortably cold inside. The cement floors and hard walls make it hard to hear the person...More

We were in town for one night and dropped in for dinner. So glad we did! The beet appetizer was delicious and my salmon dish with green beans and roasted potatoes with Bernadine sauce was fabulous. My husband’s mussels hit the spot along with the...More
