Texas barbecue??? Not like I have had. They claim there is a smoker in the back and someone comes in early to man it but where is the flavor??? We had chicken and beef brisket where the chicken was more like a rotisserie chicken and the brisket looked like it was smoked for a bit of time and then placed... More

Pulled pork was kind of mushy. Beans and potato salad were nothing special. Curbefd my hunger, prices were high to me compared to real BBQ places.

We went here for a change of pace. We both like barbecue. Absolutely nothing special about the food or service. The restaurant seemed unclean when we were there.

The place makes the area smell fantastic. I was here once so far. The food is pretty good, a little pricy for the portion in my opinion though. I got the brisquet on my visit. Decent, a little dry. The sauces they offer (6) I think are pretty good. Overall, if I'm craving some BBQ I'll be back. The food... More

After months and months of wanting to try Dickey's BBQ, I decided to stop in and see what all the hubbub was about. I ordered a BBQ sandwich and a small soft drink which I gave the girl $8.73 for, the sandwich was a large sandwich and the pork was moist and smoky but for the price paid it was... More

We appreciate you taking the time to write feedback - however - not sure you selected the correct location. Our drinks are $2.25. The prices you cited are not for our location and are much higher. More

Just standing outside the restaurant you are overwhelmed by the tantalizing smell of smoked meat. Inside the restaurant, you place your order at the counter and it's brought to your table. There's a self-serve soda and iced-tea area. There's also a free self-serve ice-cream machine. The menu is stuffed with many choices. (see website) https://www.dickeys.com/menu

Dickey's is one of our favorite BBQ restaurants and has been for years! The brisket is always tender, the sandwiches are a good size, and the sides are delicious! The greatest thing is that they are always consistently good!

I haven't eaten at a Dickey's Barbecue since I was much younger, about 100 years ago, in Texas, so I was surprised to find one in North Carolina. The food was better than I remember form my childhood and the cashier/manager came around to ask how the food was. I had the two meat plate with pulled pork and sausage,... More

Dickey's is a middle of the road BBQ chain from Texas which has expanded to other parts of the US and even Canada in recent years. I used to go to one of its locations in Dallas as a kid 40 years ago and have been to a few other in Texas over the years. In Texas it's viewed as... More

The Carolinas mean barbecue so this place is our first stop when heading to see our son's family in Chapel Hill. We arrive at about noon from New Jersey and this place is always pretty empty. It is a chain and the service has always been very quick. I don't like the idea that I have to smother my pulled... More
