We have eaten here, but has been quite some time. It was about 1400 hours when we arrived and there were around 15 folks there. Because of the Chinese released virus, you must order when you walk in, they give you a number and you...find a place to squat. We sat outside due to fairly nice weather, not because of COVID and afraid. I had their cod filet samich, with fries and the wife had their chicken pasta salad. The portions of each were entry was a lot, lot, lot. So much so, we brung did some home. The man who waited on us said the train from Bryson City isn't running and therefore their noon time business has been slow. He did say if we were to come back, the best time to eat, without having to wait a lengthy time, was between 1400 and 1700 hours. For you non-military folks, that would be 2 P.M. to 5 P.M.More

Four of us enjoyed lunch at Kostas Family Restaurant. Each of us ordered a different item from the menu and no one was disappointed. Our meals included ribs, hamburger, Philly steak sandwich and fish & chips. Portions were large and everything was perfectly cooked. We...were greeted by smiling faces and our service could not have been better. We would definitely eat there again if in the area.More

Drove there today, website says OPEN. Got there. It's closed on Sundays. Not very thrilled about that.

We have eaten in this restaurant many times, however, today we took time to analyze exactly what we got for our money. A French Dip (small portion of roast beef) with some juice to dip it in, and about 15 French fries, a Kid Grilled...Cheese Sandwich and about 15 French Fries, one Coke and 1 water, 2 some hat small pieces of French Silk pie, and a 15% tip, $33.00. They offer a military discount but not on the total bill, just on one entree, but not on the drink. Now I'm not wanting to be cheap but $33.00 for a relatively small lunch is pretty rich. The pie was $9.00 which is not a generous portion for that price was good but certainly nI am not criticizing this establishment as it was our choice to go there, we could have gone elsewhere. The military discount on 1 item only is a first.More

My husband and I ate here on 9/25/20. I had a cheeseburger. It was overcooked and not seasoned at all. He ordered the fried shrimp and cod basket. The shrimp tasted like they had been frozen and were very greasy. The cod was decent. The...tartar sauce and cocktail sauce tasted like they used the cheapest ingredients. We ordered fried zuchini as an appetizer and it was very heavily breaded and greasy. Will not eat here again.More

We went to kosta's because it had good ratings here on TripAdvisor. they were all wrong. The fish and chips were awful, the spanikopita was bland, tzatziki sauce had no flavor and was mostly just sour cream Don't waste your time or your money!

We went to Kostas mainly due to so many people saying they would go here again. We were not disappointed. My wife got the fish & chips. The fish was cooked perfectly and very meaty. There was some spice on it that really set it...off. I had lamb gyro and a salad. The gyro was excellent with lots of meat. Normally I wouldn’t mention a salad, but the dressing was fantastic. It was a creamy Apple cider dressing I think. I tried to buy some to take home but it was the only one they didn’t have any to take home. There is such a wide variety of dishes to choose from. We have to go back and try some of them. I wished I did desserts. They had several cakes that looked sooooooo good.More

We were greeted by the same warm and friendly faces. I had the dieters chicken and Bill had fish and chips. They were sooooo good. Love the new set up. We will be back again soon!

We arrived at a very busy time, and our various waiters had some trouble with our order, but our food was great. They are a Greek restaurant, but most of their menus is sandwiches and pasta. The value is terrific, considering this is a tourist...hotspot. They also sell Greek souvenirs.More

We ordered the Greek Style Snapper and Greek Salad for dinner at Kostas. I am a fan of Snapper, but this version fell short of my expectations. The fish may have been over-cooked as the edges were crispy and the meat a little dry. The...Greek Salad was good, but no potato salad and not enough feta to rank up there with ABC Pizza, Louis Pappas, and Woody’s of Central Florida. Portions were more than satisfying and service was good.More

Kostas in Dillsboro does not have a dog area. They do have outside seating but you get to it through the restaurant. In Dillsboro, there are two restaurants that do have dog areas. Foragers Canteen and The steak house. Right... More
