Cherokee, NC is in far western NC and I used TripAdvisor to locate a place to eat lunch. It was "right-on" in all regards.

They have all kinds of sweets, sandwiches and it's all delicious. I have ate many of a BLT, but this was the best one I have ever had Great place to eat so if your in the area check this place out.

The baked goods looked delicious. Two of us had yummy salads and the third a chicken salad sandwich. Not in the crazy tourist trap part of town. Be sure to watch out for the elk that walk freely around town 😜

This small cafe is great for lunch or for nice dessert. The sandwiches are delicious as are the soups. The cookies and cupcakes are great. The atmosphere is very welcoming and warm.

We were here last fall (Oct'16). had a cup of soup, egg salad sandwich and a few treats/goodies. Tasty, delicious food. We wanted to try other items on the menu too, but we drove by this place only once...They had wifi too!

Chicken enchalada and tomato bisque soups were delicious. Coupled with the Hamlet (great sauce!) and Turkey/Cheese sandwiches, perfect. Hate we don't have more time in Cherokee to have another round. Sweet spot for everyone to try. Desserts have been purchased for the road, but I'm sure they will not disappoint. Enjoy!

We stopped here for lunch, and it seems to be a local hidden gem. The food and the service were top notch, and it is in a great spot for shopping and just looking around the tow.

It looks like just a small sandwich shop. Inside they offer soup and sandwiches and drinks. Service is fast. The staff are friendly and efficient. We dropped in on them and I did not think they could get us all served as fast as they did. There were that day, a choice of several soups. I had the black bean.... More

This is our second time to Sassy's, back after about 3 years. They have a limited menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches, along with coffee, juices, and naturally flavored water. Was glad to see they were still serving great food. Stopped by for a late lunch 6 of us, the sandwiches were great and the soups even better. Stayed for... More
