Went on a Thursday evening, four adults and four kids 8-15. Food was authentic German, beer first class local, service good, atmosphere as close as German as I have seen since I left Heidelberg. Go enjoy your self.

What a combination, a German Restaurant and a Brewery!!! This place has large tables so if they're busy you'll be sitting with strangers, which is great as there's nothing like a German brew-pub to create an atmosphere of brotherly love. I recommend the snitzel, a battered and fried pick cutlet. I had the mushroom brown gravy on mine....loaded with flavor.... More

I met some friends here on a Friday afternoon. Great beers, nice relaxing atmosphere with some dogs outside with owners. Looking forward to OMB coming to Lake Norman!

This was quite a big venue for beer and food. There was inside dining, outside tables under a roof, and many picnic tables and umbrellas outside. We were visiting on an April weekday at lunch time. They offered a sampler for beer and a nice menu for lunch. We really enjoyed the lovely day outside!

Was looking for a beer or two and some German food. The Wursts were good, as well as the sides. I also ordered a beer sampler and was pleasantly surprised

Expect crowds and difficult parking during events. We were there during the Christmas Market and the place was PACKED. The interior was decorated and festive. There were no tables available as people tend to linger and it was difficult getting to the bar. The outside food, beer and wine were good. The tents were meant to mimic the booths in... More

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We arrived to seeing about 100+ people doing yoga in their beer garden. We went inside for full service...i.e...food. Food was not bad. But also not great. Beer was ok. I think the Baltic porter was probably the best one, but I would still debate whether it was true porter. Service was good, before all... More

Great beer, great service on St. Paddy's day, and good food. The outside area would be great on a warm evening. The parking lot was even nice!

One of my favorite lunch getaway locations to gave a sit down meal and a brew. Daily prepared lunch specials with a variety of house brewed ales. My favorite is Captain Jack. A light robust pilsner with nice color. Plenty of sit down tables inside and outside CON:The outsude seating area is not available for lunch eating. It is only... More

After a long road trip this was the perfect stop. A little intimidating to walk into with its cafeteria style seating but EVERYONE was very hospitable. We met great people, had terrific food (pizza, club, chicken fingers and fries) and really enjoyed the open concept. Family friendly or adult fun.

Thank Peter G
