We first discovered Nana’s while attending a conference, now it’s one of my “go to” places to eat whenever I’m in the city. On our last visit, I ordered the fried catfish. It was a very nice size filet (approx. 7oz) and the seasoning used had a good blend, with just a touch of heat. For us, the BBQ ribs,... More

This place is a nice spot to get some good Soul Food. I am originally from CT, moved here three years ago and while new to the area was looking for some Soul Food. Stumbled upon this place and I have been going back since 2014. The environment is nice and clean and the selections are good. The portions are... More

Every time my husband and I are in Charlotte, we stop Nana's. We generally get the same thing, A two meat plate with green beans and macaroni and cheese and corn bread, and it is always slamming. This is ALWAYS a stop whenever we're in the Charlotte area. There is absolutely nothing on their menu that is nasty. We also... More

This is a great stop for a sampling of great southern dishes. Our party of four all enjoyed their respective selections.

I cannot say enough about how awesome all the food was. Fried chicken was awesome! Cabbage was delicious. The macaroni and cheese was out of this world. I was visiting from out of town, but if I lived here I would go everyday. Simply amazing, you have to go. Cornbread scrumptious.

The restaurant is located in a petite shopping center. When you enter the restaurant the food is already cooked. Only fish is not pre cooked, drink included and the cooked food was fried and backed chucken, bbq ribs, turkey, cabbage, yams, stuffing, mash potatoes, collard greens, fried okra, brown gravy, biscuits, mac and cheese and more. Dessert consists of cakes,... More

I always like to stop here when I'm in town. They are walking distance near the hotel I like to stay at. They're food is excellent home cooking and as much as I travel, it's nice to get a good meal from somewhere other than fast food! Definitely recommend this place for a good home cooked dinner.

This is a small resturant in a little strip center. With a small plate you get a meat and two sides. With a large plate you get two meats and two sides. The service is cafeteria style, unless you order fried fish and that is cooked when you orderr it. More different chicken selections than I have ever seen in... More
