I have eaten at Brookwood Farms at CLT on numerous occasions and it is usually pretty good, especially for airport food. I had lunch there last week and things have gone downhill. They weren't staffed appropriately for the lunch rush so the line to check out was slow (my food was cold by the time I got to eat it).... More

We were surprised to see a BBQ place at the Charlotte airport so we had to try the brisket. Brisket is about our favorite meat. All we wanted was the brisket and were a little disappointed that we had a choice of a brisket sandwich or a brisket platter but no just plain brisket. We ordered the brisket sandwich and... More

A decent airport breakfast stop. Egg sandwiches and egg platters, the bacon was really yummy. After security, the counter service was fine, and there are plenty of tables in the food court. Clean area. The prices were fine for an airport.

Twice in three days, stood in line for our favorite southern meals at Charlotte airport-pulled pork platter and beef brisket platter, both very good. Be sure and ask for extra sauce if you want. Second time hush puppies were hard, not fluffy. Fried pickle is a nice highlight. Brunswick stew very good also.

After along journey this is the best place to try your ribs and barbecues, they were succulent and delicious. We loved the restaurant also how it was designed plus the vibe of the place was up to per. Highly recommended

I had somewhat high hopes for this place based on reviews. Ordered the pulled pork, which should be the test for any Carolina BBQ place. Very disappointing. Portion size is good, but it was way over the top salty. Someone didn't know what they were doing with seasoning. It was truly overpowering. BBQ sauce was too sticky sweet. It's designed... More

Saw a long line and walked by....thought must be a reason it's a long line at 2 pm. Went back and had chicken thigh platter with greens, cornbread and fried okra with a fried pickle spear. Enjoyed the meal and will eat here when I travel through CLT and worth the price and wait

One of the better airport BBQ places in the country. It's worth a few minutes and you can eat there or get it to go. It's a buffet style set up so you can see what you're getting. Very popular. My wife always gets a pulled pork sandwich......I just like a pile of it. NC sauce (of course). You can... More

Starting at 5:15a, you can have breakfast here. I had scrambled eggs (a little too wet), bacon (yum), potatoes (good), and biscuits with gravy (oh yeah!). It was the best breakfast I could find in the airport, and I was glad to get it. Total cost with iced tea: ~$13.

I travel through Charlotte airport often. If I can I schedule my layover to be a couple of hours. Long enough to get from one side of the airport to the other plus grab something to eat the Carolina Pit BBQ. You line up cafeteria style and select from a good choice of meat and sides. They have the usual... More
