I've been eating lunch (and sometimes supper) here since it opened. They are my family. I have watched their children grow up.

What I actually ate was fine, but had to settle for something different from what I originally ordered. I asked for nachos and got chips with unmelted shredded cheese. The guy says "oh yeah we are our of melted quest." Really??? You could have told me when I ordered and let me make the decision. I asked if it could... More

We came here for a family meal and it was great. Delicious mole for parents, quesadillas for kids. Very inexpensive. The staff were super friendly and nice. The dining area could use a good scrub but it was OK. The salsa was mild enough for the kids too.

Cosmic is my go-to place when I need to quick meal, day or night. They have won the best late night eats award fro so many years I am not sure anyone else even competes anymore. I love the deluxe vegetarian burrito.

Always good burritos and chips. Solid. Great for after the bars, but also nice for a relaxed, fun and quick dinner with friends. Right in the heart of downtown. Nothing fancy, but hip for the Chapel Hill scene. Lots of students and locals go here.

Cosmic is open most of the day, but it's a classic late night hang out spot just off the UNC campus on Franklin Street. It's your classic cheap Mexican food, but it's definitely a step above Taco Bell and other such places both in taste and authenticity. My favorite thing to get is the steak quesadilla with no salsa, but... More

The one place that is open after mid-night. The price is very reasonable for students. I love its chicken salad.

Consistently awesome, the Cosmic Cantina delivers great food at very reasonable prices. I like some things better than others. I'm not a huge fan of their beef. The chicken is fine. But to be honest, a deluxe vegetarian with a little of their own hot sauce inside is practically perfect. Great mission-style burritos, but don't overlook the quesadillas and chimichangas.... More

Wanted to try because I had a coupon. Unfortunately, it seems that this is a family operated location and I would rather have good news to report. The food was not very flavorful and should have been made fresh. Dry burrito, chimichanga not fresh, quesadilla okay. Much too expensive given the quantity and quality.

I am so in love with this place. Their portions are generous, and all of their ingredients are flavorful (I can never go back to Chipotle). Swift, excellent service. Free wifi and they make you feel at home. It will make you fall in love with burritos all over again. Get the supreme chimichanga and a side of queso for... More
