Maurice was our server. He is really on top of his game with a great attitude. The fried chicken is almost as good as my grandmothers. The collard greens were fresh and very good. Great family restaurant.

We wanted to try Mama dips famous fried chicken and green tomatoes! The chicken was meaty and done perfectly. The tomatoes were good but a little thin. They tasted good but there was more breading than tomato. Disappointed but all in all we enjoyed our...More

The fried chicken was indeed crispy and tasty. The sides were very good. For the amount of food you get we felt it was very inexpensive. The waitstaff was fine. We look forward to returning next year.

The food was average. I love southern food but it just didn’t live up to the reputation. Macaroni and Cheese was good but greens were nothing to write home again. Chicken didn’t have a lot of flavor.

My Wife and I ate there on a recommendation of a friend. I ordered the ribs and received 4 bones for 15 bux. Not a great deal. Our server was hardly there as well. I would have prefered the chain bbq better for the money

My mom and I drove up from Georgia to meet my daughter, and a cousin who had been there once took us there. Big mistake. I think we had the same nonchalant waitress the other disgusted reviewers encountered. The waiters were attentive, however, and had...More

Chitterlings are a delicacy. The cow has the tripe and the pig has the chitterlings. The tripe and the chitterlings are the intestines. My mom washes them until they are squeaky clean and she can see straight thru them... More
