My husband and I had lunch at this fine establishment. The beer menu has some tasty choices! My husband had the American IPA and I had the Cream Ale... both very good. We would highly recommend the fish tacos and the club sandwich....both delicious! Our waitress was very attentive and added to a overall pleasurable experience. Stop in to Carolina... More

Although this place seemed to be full of mostly beer drinkers, we just went for the food. My fish tacos were great, but the accompanying beans and rice were mediocre. My dining companion had the Mac and Cheese with chicken, which looked very good and she ate every bite. Service was adequate, although the beer drinkers seemed to get a... More

Stopped in to try their beers. We are from NJ and we love to try local brews wherever we go. I had the Amber Ale and the Honey Porter. Both excellent. My friend had a flight and then settled on the Honey Porter. The bartender was a knowledgeable and friendly woman who answered our questions. Other patrons were friendly and... More

Food and Beer was fantastic and the service was exceptional. Our waitress was so attentive we had our grand daughter with us (8 months old) and she didn't miss a beat.

Came in the other week, great beers, better service. Alyssa took care of us. Only negative thing we observed was the the bar seemed to need a dishwasher, perhaps a barback to assist bartenders with this tedious task. But will definitely stop back in the future!

Typical pub food located near the UNC Campus. Service is good, but not when this place is full. It's difficult to carry on a conversation here at dinner time when it's crowded. It does offer an excellent selection of beers to choose from, and during basketball season, it offers a trolley ride up to and back from the Dean Dome... More

I had an IPA and my husband had the Amber Ale. Excellent beers. Very nice evening to sit outside and enjoy the crowds. We haven't been in Chapel Hill in 40 years, were students back then. Quite a change I can tell you !! Table service is excellent as well. Really enjoyed our time.

We brought our son and his girlfriend from out of town here. We like the beer paddle, with six different beers. My wife likes the porters and I like the IPAs. The food reminds of British pub fare. We liked the Christmas brew so much we bought a case on the way out. Lots of screens with sports events, if... More

We used to eat and drink here often as "townies" but they have adopted iceberg lettuce and I can't eat it so we don't eat there anymore. We now eat across the street at Carolina Ale House. I keep asking and the management kept ignoring so now they have lost loyal "townie" customers.

We apologize for your unpleasant experience with our menu changes. As we are a locally owned and operated company, we do like to keep our menu fresh by rotating new items and old favorites. Our current salad blend is a mix of several lettuces (though we do use shredded iceberg on our sandwiches and burgers) so I'm not sure how... More
