We had not eaten here in years, but friends in our foodie group consider this one of the best and are regulars. We were delighted in the service as well as the food. Chapel Hill does have a seafood restaurant after all!

We went to Squids Restaurant with my whole family. The included guests were my daughter and her husband. There were three children ages 9, 7, 5. We were seated at a large table in a reasonably quiet section of the restaurant. Service was was courteous...More

Had family in prior to Thanksgiving, and I'd been wanting to try Squid's. It's a little bright in there, like many fish houses are. I'd dim the lights after 7:30pm with the early birds leave. The waiter was super friendly and professional. Very attentive. We...More

I always try to visit Squids when I visit my father in Chapel Hill: they have a half-price oyster ‘happy hour’ (from 4-6pm) with 2 dozen oysters costing just $19.95. After gorging on oysters at the bar one can then move on to the adjacent...More

We arrived about 20 minutes before closing and the server was nice and helpful. We selected seafood kabobs and calamari for the table and portions were large and food was tasty! Great choice in Chapel Hill for seafood!
