If you are looking for top eats in a unique setting, look no further. Each dish is a unique creation by the two lead chefs and their team, and is updated frequently. Every course was played in a decorative way, sometimes using local flowers. We...enjoyed each and every course. The decor and atmosphere is well appointed. Service was attentive, knowledgeable and polite. Come hungry. I suggest skipping lunch of at least keeping it very light. You will leave full! This is not a quick eatery. You so want it to be a perfect meal, so much about it is so well done, but some how there seems to be a little "tweek" of addition every dish that just doesn't fit... tonight, some kind of sandy, way over pickled mushroom that...had nothing to do with the rest of the dish. So ill placed and strong, my impulse was to spit it out. I had looked forward for years to eating here. The Atmosphere is outstanding and we had a great table right on the edge of the indoor/outdoor space. Service was great - wonderful greeter and waitress. Food was disappointing. I chose the diver scallops which were...as I was told several times ceviche style. So my mistake to order as they had little taste. The most concerning was the entree options which were duck, lamb and trout. Both os us ordered the trout (as the lamb and duck accompaniments were unappealing) which quite frankly had very little taste. My dinner date had the pork belly as a side and it was not like any pork belly either of us had ever seen....like a large slab of very fatty bacon. Not particularly pleasing. We had the chocolate cake which was okay. Overall, at $106 per person, disappointing. My date cancelled another reservation for later this summer.More

Restaurant is open air dining. While probably reasonable given the mountain location, on hot August nights it can be slightly warm. Rather than seating us when we timely arrived, we were shuffled to the bar to await our table, even after my wife told the...host she was not drinking. After 10 minutes, the host finally seated us 10 minutes late for our reservation. The table was ready when we arrived. Only thought is he wanted us to have a chance to buy beverages before being seated. The service was great. The waiter and food runner were both pleasant and efficient. The food was just so-so. Far more interested in presentation than taste. Not to say the food was bad, it wasn't. The trout was bland. The rest of the meal was good.More

Our first visit here. In fact had never heard of it until visiting friends in the area. We were really impressed. We were there on a lovely night and the had a nice bar and col place to sit and visit while waiting on our...table. Our table was outside but even those under roof were open air. We dressed casually but there didn’t seem to be a dress code,just an upscale clientele. This is a fixed price restaurant. I think it was $68 pp. This was for four courses with two selections for the first three and I think four for desert. Their wine list was pretty expensive but they had reasonably priced wine.
