I must confess that I've not eaten in the restaurant, only ordered take-out. We usually do Jade Palace, but decided to try GK instead today. Had the General Tso's chicken, which was flavorful but dry, and the Beef & broccoli, which satisfied my craving but wasn't anything standout (either bad or good). Service was quick (10 mins) and friendly. Nice... More

Food was fine, far from the best in the area though. I was incredibly disappointed with the service. I was expecting it to be crazy on Christmas, but it wasn't nearly as crowded as I expected. Unfortunately they were still so frazzled they gave us bowls to drink our tea from and each plate for our 6 person party came... More

This is our go-to for Chinese food in the Triangle. The food is reliably delicious and the staff are always friendly and warm. While the ambiance leaves a bit to be desired, the food more than makes up for it!

Was undercooked because the timer was broken. We used to go once a week. Manager should control quality better. We have had problems with this dish miltiple times. Not once did manager come out to talk with us. We will go back after a while...but not too soon.

The food at Gourmet Kingdom is absolutely spectacular, althugh you would never guess that from the decor. It is authentically Chinese, fresh, and delicious!

We were looking for lunch during a weekend getaway. Saw good ratings and gave it a go. We were the only non-Asian people in the restaurant. The menu was primarily in Chinese with English "subtitles." We picked a few dishes that seemed familiar. It was incredible. This is not strip-mall Chinese takeaway. We will return.

The service at Gourmet Kingdom is always friendly and the food is spicy and delicious. we particularly like H6 and the Kung Pao Lotus root (sometimes it's crunchier than others; we like it when its more crispy rather than less).

Gourmet Kingdom is the real deal. Ever since it opened, I guess about seven years ago now, Gourmet Kingdom has been my main go-to Chinese restaurant. I mean REAL Chinese restaurant. The lunches are very affordable, and the dinners can be as affordable as you like. I've had a $7 lunch and a whole lobster dinner (Szechuan style) for about... More

Was in town visiting my daughter and she suggested The Gourmet. It was all she said and more! The food was flavorful, promptly brought out, and exactly what was asked for. We had an order of pot-stickers (dumplings), chinese broccoli, Beef Noodle Soup, and the Crispy Fish Szechuan. Each dish was excellent, and the portion size was more than enough... More
