You better get there early on Saturday because the line can be out the door! The chicken biscuits are that good!

Stopped for breakfast while on a ride with a buddy to Elizabeth City from Virginia Beach. Parking lot was full. I ordered a steak, egg, and cheese biscuit then chased it down with hot coffee and sausage and gravy biscuit. Staff was friendly and polite. Way better than chain fast food restaurants. The deserts looked delicious but I was too... More

Ohmygosh this little family Bake Shoppe is over the top with goodness. The clean look from the outside to the mouth watering food selections. We had bacon and fried eggs with a "maple topped cinnamon bun" only made on Thursdays...our lucky day. We will be back🍽💛🌞

Stopped by upon the recommendation from my nephew and his wife. Belcross Bakery is local done right, very right. Genuinely friendly staff. The best sweet potato biscuit ever. Excellent coffee. Welcoming atmosphere for young and older alike. If I'm ever in this area again, I will drive out of my way to return.

The sweet potato biscuits are good and really nice staff. Not the best biscuits in the area though. But decent. Want to try more of their selection in the future as many locals love this place!

Pasteries are big enough to share. I had the sweet potato cinnamon bun. This shoppe also offers other breakfast sandwiches. It's where the locals go, so get there early. The line forms to the right! In the summer months and for the holidays, their fruit/veggie stand is open for in-season items, plus jams, jellies, preserves.
