We were here for a class. We stayed two nights. We had dinner here twice, breakfast once and lunch once. When I requested cheddar cheese on my hamburger, they only had cheddar cheese spread. UGH! The hamburger tasted like some other meat, not sure what...More

This place hangs out over the river. Great view from every table. Food was pretty good. My burger was average, but not bad. My wife got the Sherpa rice. It was fantastic. This place closes at 7:00pm. At least it did in April. Go early....More

Now, I 've been here at least five times now. However, this last visit was not my best. The pizza quality was not what it usually is. Way too much cheese and I actually was wondering if there was any sauce under all of that...More

Had a giant cheeseburger and a side of fries here with a chaser of apple cobbler a la mode. Even for a hungry hiker it was a lot of food. Definitely a good place to refuel on the AT.

I had a burger which turned out to be the best in several years. The fries were very tasty, made with a light flavored coating. Split a bowl of chilli with my wife, who had a salad with chicken that had a tasty ginger soy...More

We stop here at least once a year. I wish the menu had not changed but its still good for a quick bite to eat after a day on the water. You can't beat the view!

The place offers a great view of the river and anyone kayaking, rafting, or frolicking in the water. If you have older kids that don't have the patience to wait for their food they can go out on the bridge crossing the river and you...More

If we are riding the train and there is a layover there, do we have enough time to order and eat before the train leaves? We were there once before and had to wait a long time for our food.

I have ridden the train many times to the NOC and there really isn't enough time to eat there. It is best to eat at one of the kiosks on the train side of the river. That way, you still have a bit of time to walk around and... More

Do you allow dogs on the outdoor patio? We have not been to Nantahala for years but used to love eating at Rivers End with our dog in tow.
