I had lunch here. Nothing special that I could really tell. I'd have to come back at another time to see what's so great about it.

I didn't like this place the first time we went there but said I would give it another chance. Wow, was that a good idea! Since the bad pizza the first time we went - everything has been superb! We have had the lunch combo (the quiche is fantastic!) with half sandwiches, and also salads, burgers, soups, and one dinner... More

We stumbled on The Red Onion on a busy Saturday after Thanksgiving. We were treated to a cozy environment and yummy food. The service was great. The Horace's Cookie was the perfect dessert to follow the signature French Onion Soup and interesting sandwich choices.

Decided to try based on reviews. Food was delicious and good portions. Good prices. Staff was super! There was a singing group dining there as well and would randomly sing Christmas songs which was lovely. However during times they weren't singing they were extremely loud showing no courtesy to fellow dinners. I do feel the manager should have addressed this.... More

This place was recommended to us by some people who run a shop in Boone. When we arrived, we realized we had eaten here before and had enjoyed it last time, too. Lunch was filling and very tasty (the quiche was superb!) and very reasonable.

We ate here in October. We were seated promptly and our server was very efficient and friendly. I had the white pizza and my husband had the Mediterranean tilapia. Both meals were excellent. It had been a while since we were there last, but the experience was still the same. We look forward to dining there again when we are... More

We visited on a game day Saturday night, so it was packed! I know why. A diverse menu offers something for every taste bud. We enjoyed onion rings and zucchini appetizers YUM! The pimento cheese appetizer looked amazing, but we didn't have enough room to try them all. Baked pasta dish with meatballs was huge, plenty of leftovers. You can... More

We found this while visiting Boone for a day trip. The name is what brought us in, the food and service will bring us back. My meal was the lunch fish taco, with fresh made coleslaw. The tacos as well as the coleslaw was great! would recommend this. 3 in my party, we were seated quickly, brisk service and excellent... More

We went on a Monday evening, wasn't too crowded and we were seated right away. Service was very good and the food even better. The waitstaff was extremely friendly and everyone was very attentive. They all looked like they were helping anywhere needed and truly cared to make the experience a nice one.
