We were pleasantly surprised to find no line at 6:45 on a rainy Sunday evening in October. We were seated immediately, and the process was explained to us. Our waiter arrived with numerous bowls of food on a cart and placed them on the table....More

I have eaten here before and have been well pleased. Dinner was as good as I remembered, but breakfast was not. The biscuits were hard and cold. Only brought two pieces of bacon, two patties of sausage and one piece of ham. Had two pancakes...More

As a resident of Boone for the past 23 years, I am still perplexed that so many folks travel from so far away and then stand in a long line for so long, just to eat mediocre Golden Corral-grade food.

Daniel Boone Inn is so.....good. I don't know how they make the biscuits so fluffy or the ham so tender. The waitresses dress in something my grandmother would have worn. Makes you feel right at home.

Daughter and friend took us there for a first visit. As many have already said, the place is clean and cheerful. The building is a town landmark - several interesting historical displays enhance the interior. The meal price - for dinner at least - is...More

. Clean and friendly. First time visitor. Nothing spectacular. Once seated, took about 15 minutes to be waited on and served our drinks. Initially the grits, gravy was hot and just right. The second helping of gravy and grits were runny. The biscuits were more...More

I don't know what time they stop serving breakfast. I believe the lunch price may be less than dinner price but am not sure. We are not local, just found this gem in our travels. They do have a website which will give more... More
