We have been visiting Blowing Rock for 40+ years and had never tried this restaurant. I'm so glad we did on this trip. We were told by our waiter, Ben M., that the restaurant had changed ownership within the last 6 months and the menu...More

The food is great. I recommend the almond crusted trout. I didn't much care for the seating...too close to others with lots of noise. Don't count on a private, quiet meal. If weather is nice, sit outside and you may enjoy it more. Very expensive.

If you like beer, this is a great place to sample local flavors and purchase six packs or growlers. An added plus though is the restaurant portion as well as the bottle shop. You can sample with as many small pours as you would like,...More

A local couple we met recommended this place and we arrived famished at 5pm after a long day hiking. We liked the menu selection of southern home cooking i.e.. Hoecakes with maple butter, Deviled egg apps, and other country delectables. My wife and I both...More

Located in downtown Blowing Rock- on the corner of Main Street and 221- is the newly renovated and reinvented restaurant and bottle shop. We explore the roots of Appalachian food and beverage culture, and recreate it in our kitchen by preserving and reviving ingredients of our local heritage. To accompany the celebration of our regional dishes, our new beverage program focuses on terroir driven libations. The term terroir evokes a sense of place, and in our shop this is evident in everything we do. The bottle shop emphasizes traditions of fermentation practices by offering some of the best “home-grown” beers and ciders around. In addition, our wines highlight small producers from old world to new. Please note our Kitchen closes daily from 3-5.
