Had to stop in here for at least one beer. Always do on our Beaufort visits. Dog friendly place with firendly wait staff. They were building an awesome courtyard. Looks like it should be ready maybe early spring.

This is a cute little bar with mostly beer and a limited selection for cocktails and shots. It's tucked away and a chill older crowd. I recommend this place if you just want to grab a beer and hang out.

Recommend stopping in with your well behaved pets and enjoy a drink and band. Backstreet is just a block off the water and the staff is friendly and drinks are outstanding. they are one of the most pet friendly pubs we have ever attended.

Stopped in to have a drink before our dinner reservation down the street. Cute little local place with a cozy fireplace in the corner. Enjoyed a couple of beers and a glass of wine served in a plastic cup (always classy) while meeting some of the locals. Nothing pretentious- just a good bar. Stop by for a visit- the two... More

Went there for a drink before dinner . Rustic place where if the walls could speak ,herds of people would listen . Nice little patio out back .

If you want to hang with locals, this is the place. An amazing collection of characters.....just like the town itself. Fully licensed, no food, dogs rule.

My brother and his wife found this place and liked it so much they wanted to return, so we did! Very enjoyable and quaint. It was a late Monday night so not crowded and we were inside on the lower level which had a neat ambiance, charming and quaint. Very relaxing with great service. A good margarita too!

Cold beer and now liquor in an old historic building with a bakers oven. They often have fires in the winter in the oven which is wonderful. The building itself is beautiful in an old pub from the 1800s sort of way. No place I would rather ride out a storm than in the Back Street. Dog friendly and cash... More

Worth stopping in to say you've been there, but given the place (and trust me, I LIKE dive bars), I think the pricing for drinks here is very bold. The cups are plastic (again, I have no problem with that, even sort of a very ok with it) but the drinks can't be the same prices as in a beachfront... More
