Global Palate was recommended by our B and B. Our good friend who is a professor at the CIA also loves the place and joined us with another mutual friend. The waitress at first seemed a little harried but she was friendly and accommodating the entire meal. Very good service. We ordered the Caesar, calamari and the pot stickers for... More

Fresh home made goodness. Anything on the menu is fantastic. This is a non rushed experienced where you relax and take in all the smells and tastes. One of the Hudson Valley's best.

What a cozy, warm, vintage interior with warm aged wood paneling, bar and fireplace. And then there's the food and the service... Started with a delicious poached pear martini. My friend had a fried green tomato appetizer and then a mussel dish in lobster bisque both of which she found delicious. I had a duck wing appetizer which was a... More

Fabulous food! Nice service, and a charming ambiance in a quiet corner of the Hudson Valley. We will most certainly be back.

We visited for brunch this past Sunday we arrived early we were the second table there and the only two tables in the restaurant until about 10 minutes before we left. My husband ordered 2 eggs over easy with the house made roast beef hash and rye toast. His eggs were more on the med/hard side the hash had quite... More

Atmosphere is lovely, very warm and inviting. Food is good, prices are reasonable. Everything was perfect except when, while drinking my warm coffee, the waitress asked us to leave the table and go to the bar so they could place other guests at the table. I thought that was extremely rude. We were only there longer because it took 45... More

I've eaten here many times but I always forget to write a review. This past Sunday for dinner, my best friend and I decided to order a specialty martini each (which are always made with fresh fruit and top notch liquors; they taste SO good that you kinda want 2 but we also wanted to try their new wines by... We weren't sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. The menu was innovative and interesting. Everything is locally sourced and delicious. It would do amazingly well in Manhattan at triple the price. If you are in the area, or even if you're not - make it a point to come to this restaurant!

My wife and I went there for a birthday dinner. Wow, were we happily surprised! The food was truly global with dishes that were influenced by cuisines from Mexico, India, France, South Korea, etc. Each dish was excellent. And so were the drinks: not your everyday drinks, although you can get all the standards. The place wasn't very busy but... More

Had expected a really special dinner here based on reviews and pedigree of the chef. While I appreciate and value the farm to table efforts I felt that there was a lot lacking in all the dishes I sampled. The arugula in my appetizer course was unintentionally wilted and not very appealing, the cod tasted fishy, the short rib tough... More
