Without a booking at this restaurant, the staff managed to rearrange tables to fit us on. We only wanted a light meal and what we had was superb.

I have been to this restaurant many times, and the food is always nice. I had a creamy pumpkin soup which was served to me in a bowl on a nice warm plate with garlic bread. It was very pleasant. Their chips and gravy are also nice, the gravy doesn't disappoint. My husband had a chicken burger, the only thing... More

We had dinner here on our second and last night in Denmark. Not too many places to eat that are walkable from our hotel in the centre of town, and this was one of them. We had a nice meal - I had a tasty sirloin steak and my wife had the osso bucco (very nice, but enormous!). No room... More

It's not the smartest restaurant in the area, but having been overcharged for really badly cooked food in so many Denmark area restaurants, we often return to the Denmark hotel for a plateful of marrons and chips, which are cooked perfectly and taste delicious. If you, too, are really fed up with "chefs" who think their responsibility ends with writing... More

Went for dinner on a Saturday evening. Gentleman who served us was unfriendly and snappy. Food is overpriced for what is on offer and quality of food was unsatisfactory for price paid. Atmosphere is also very uninspired. Overall don't bother there are nicer places offering a better experience and friendlier staff at a better price.

The steak with half local marron was really lovely - thank you for such great friendly service and a beautiful outlook looking out over the river.

Stopped for cokes in cans for kids, and a pint and shandy, took one sip and left. The shandy tasted like off cider and the beer had tannin lots of it. Shockingly bad! !

The food was typical of a reasonable hotel menu in the dining room but we felt the prices weren't - it was definitely overpriced. As an example a steak can be from $33 to $39 and it ain't Waygu.

Loved the parmie at the pub. Friendly staff, good food. Check out the bar menu as well as the restaurant menu for more options
