Doesn't look great from the outside but fresh seafood cooked well ! The Po ..... can't remember oysters unbelievable - floured and deep fried with chili !! Garlic bread with garlic prawns out of this world !!! Fresh local crab cakes! Local Snapper with prawns and calamari in a cream sauce also excellent !!! Friendly service by owners with humour!... My Friends and I had a fantastic snapper fish dinner. The pieces of snapper were juicy and thick. You can have it fried or grilled. Either way, it is delicious. The restaurant itself is near the water and has that laid back charm where you can just enjoy the breeze of a humid evening in Carnarvon. The menu has a... More

Average to say the least. Such an unappealing venue. It's advertised in the Carnarvon travel mag and looks decent but it's pretty crappy and it's mainly deep fried everything.

I arrived just after 6 pm. This was early for dinner and there was no-one around. I had to wait at the counter for a little while until I was noticed. That was OK I wasn't in a hurry. I sat outside on a nice warm evening. A few mozzies but a nice spot over the road from the water.... More

Went for dinner and paid $30 for the three of us to expect three decently sized pieces of fish and plenty of chips to go around - this was not the case. Fish was small, imported, and not very good, while we got not enough chips for one person let alone three. To compare, my local fish and chip shop... More

So in fairness to the restaurant, we arrived very close to 2pm (they close @2 & reopen for dinner apparently), so as we arrived the waiter or possibly manager advised us that we could order from the main menu but we would have to take away the food away. He then informed the cook that she had another order to... More

We arrived from Karijini NP (750km) and didn't want to cook so we went for a "good" fish restaurant. Well, what a disappointment! Fish grilled too much and tasted "fishy", chips were ok and vegetables were just tasteless. Service was good and friendly, but atmosphere of restaurant like a fast food chain. Plus prices rather high compared to other restaurants... More

We were stunned by the reasonably priced food - amazingly fresh seafood, yummy! Lovely views, and well patronised by the locals.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here. The food was excellent and very good value. Service was good and we had a great view of the sunset. What more could you want!

This café was perfect for us for a pleasant lunch. The café sits opposite the water so we enjoyed the views, the food was of good quality and the staff were very friendly.
