Six of us went to the Karridale Tavern last evening to celebrate three birthdays within the group. I'd never been there before but had heard good reviews about the food. My expectations were fairly high, but as Karridale is a tiny dot on the map...More

We dined there after reading review. I was very happy with our evening... the services was friendly and fast, the food was great (typical pub menu done well), and there was a great atmosphere. The tavern has the added convenience of a bottle shop attached....More

We chose the Karridale Tavern for a night out while staying at a nearby caravan park. The meal was amazing, service unbelievable and very reasonably priced. I wish there was somewhere like this near us in Perth!! Will definitely be back next year!

Our meal in this tavern in the tiny hamlet of Karridale was surprisingly good. My husband ordered fish of the day, and I had salt and pepper squid. Both were served on generous beds of delicious, fresh salads. Both meals were delicious. Great atmosphere.

I have been to this tavern several times and never seen dogs inside or out in the beer garden area. We have always left our dog in the car in a shady spot in the car park. You should probably contact the tavern about their... More

Description
15 kms north of Augusta at the junction of the Brockman Highway and Bussell Highway and situated on the road to Hamelin Bay is a very comprehensive Roadhouse and Tavern. The building is in the Australian Veranda Style made with local wood. The Tavern is situated behind the Roadhouse section with ample parking for not only cars but trucks and vehicles with something in tow. The roadhouse is in an isolated location but has very conceivable item that a traveller with a family may need from nappies, formula and dummies to lipstick and Mylanta! They have the full range of fuel types and spare parts. The Roadhouse takes a large range of Cards including Motorcharge and Amex. The food is made fresh each day and is of excellent quality and variation They also have many staples from local suppliers and great bread from the Augusta Bakery. I dined at the Tavern one week ago and have to report on my excellent experience. We were greeted by friendly staff and we quickly picked from the daily specials our meals.whilst we were waiting for our meals a family with numerous children came in and the staff quickly gave them pencils, paper and a games box which worked a treat. The staff bent over backwards to help with a high chair, heat up the milk and food prepared by the mother and generally made the large family feel very welcome and right at home, my sisters and I were so impressed by the level of service. Our meals arrived quickly and what a treat we had not only was they ample serves on HEATED plates but the quality was outstanding and delicious. We could not fault the service and gave the place a 10 out of 10.An unexpected and memorable dinner in such an isolated place...the secret is now out!
