Just got back from 5 weeks on Bryher, eating at Vine Cafe twice a week. Myself, my wife, and 9yo son all love this place. For the fantastic, fulsome, wholesome English cooking. (And especially the lemon meringue pie.) And for the brilliant and friendly team...More

Great little place, does basic food like jacket potatoes, sandwiches and home made cakes, with a range of soft drinks and tea and coffee. It feels like something from another era and we loved it.

We heard so much about this and were pleased when we had a rainy walk to find a table free. We had tea and scones, which were ok.

I enjoyed a pot of tea and a delicious slice of Kath's bakewell tart, as she baked another. This place is welcoming and somehow reassuring; I look forward to coming again and would recommend it highly.

This simple cafe serves delicious home-made food. All is freshly made and the two ladies are friendly and do everything; nothing too much trouble. Well worth a visit as it's the taste of childhood and very retro

Enjoyed a very tasty lunch of a bowl of home-made broccoli soup and beautifully baked fluffy cheese scone for £4.50. Set us up for the rest of the day's walking. Lovely little place.

An unassuming wooden chalet building but the most wonderful fresh food. We had home made tomato soup with a warm cheese scone. Heavenly.
