Last night we ate at the restaurant, we were 6 people order salads and soups for starters and proceeded with lasagna spaghetti Almare and ravioli bolognese. For dessert we had chocolate mousse and tiramesu. Every think was fresh and very good. The service was very...freindly. We enjoyed it very much.More

If you're a pilgrim and you want to load up on great food, this is the place in Pontevedra. Been to Italy and little Italy in Montreal and Toronto. This was the best seafood pasta meal I have ever had. And I'm old. Great service,...in French, English, and probably Spanish and Italian too. Not to be missed.More

While walking the Camino Portuguese we spent the night in Pontevedra. It rained ALL day and we were tired and looking for a very good meal. We found it at Il Piccolo. The food was very good and the service was great. They have a...nice menu with many gluten free options including pasta, pizza and bread. And, it was so tasty. The owner checked with us to make sure we knew what was available in gluten free. Very nice ambiance and central location. It was exactly what we were looking for.More

Nice restaurant, the pizza and pasta were good, but I would'nt recommend the seafood, it was flavourless and not fresh. Friendly service.

My husband and I joined friends to have a final evening meal post-World Championship before travelling on to Portugal. The restaurant was able to accommodate our large group, and provided bread for the table. The menu selection was overwhelming (English menus available), and the meal...was excellent. The only complaint I had was that service in trying to pay our bill seemed disorganized and I had to beckon several staff to find out where to pay. Other than that, a fun evening with great food and friends.More

There are several Italian restaurants in Pontevedra and this is widely considered the best. It's certainly well situated on an up-and-coming 'international cuisine' street which has recently been pedestrianised and which is right on the Camino Portuguese as it nears the centre of the city.

We ate there last night. The service was really friendly and efficient. I was most impressed by their gluten free choice- basically their whole menu (pizzas, pasta and main courses) could be made gluten free.

Really good authentic food. Good coffee and very good service. The owner is a Nice humouristic guy. We went here on our Way on the Camino and it is the best food we have had since Porto.

Great meal there... the pasta is Devine. Carpaccio was the best I’ve ever had. Definitely worth a visit.
