After having had some upscaled dinner during the week we went för a more simple dinner close to our hotel. So, fish´n chips was on the meny and we went for it. But to our liking, these people in this kitchen like their job more...More

Truly a memory bank day....gorgeous weather, lovely friendly staff, great ambience within the resstauran, which incidentally was packed. My husband chose the goats' cheese salad, which was simply vast, beautifully served, which not only looked fabulous, but tasted just as good. Our friend chose a...More

Been here twice, the first time during the day at the Festival "Chant du Marin" when it was packed with people lined up outside, and the second on a wet Wednesday night in mid September Not only was the food excellent but the service friendly...More

In a month of living and traveling in France this place offered the sweetest oysters we have encountered, and we’ve eaten oysters nearly every lunch and dinner during a 10-day seacoast excursion through Brittany. They are unimaginably good. Coupled with a mixed salad of fresh...More

We'd picked L'Islandais based on Cunliffe's recommendation in the Channel Pilot. It didn't disappoint. We shared a charcuterie board between three of us. Not bad. Main: My wife had smoked haddock with pureed potato and leeks - very nice but small portions. My daughter had...More

We almost left due to horrible table neighbours , but I'm glad we soldiered through and stayed until desert! L'islandais may look like a tourist trap, but they have fresh produce (their platters looked amazing and everyone seemed to enjoy them) and excellent cooking skills....More

We booked using 'The Fork' so table reserved very easily. Sat at table on covered terrace with our dog, no problem. Very busy, but good attentive service, staff friendly and patient with our poor French - they have a menu in English too- useful especially...More

Four of us dined here - two tourists and two locals. Food was average for France. Service was slow. Ambience was good, lots of families with children - we were outside on a cool damp July evening. Four menus, with wine €151.

My husband had been to this restaurant before and of course being Icelanders we had to there. I had my first whole lobster and my husband had the seafood platter (again) and we both loved our food. Our waiter was attentive and entertaining.

A fantastic lunch en route to the Ile de Brehat. Chosen on the basis of the numbers in the restaurant and while we had to wait a short while for the table, the wait was absolutely worth it. Our waiter was very helpful (and spoke...More

Description
Open 7/7 all year, noon and evening Loaded with history, L'Icelandic proposes a traditional cuisine elaborated by our chef Florian in very different marine universes. Pancakes, pancakes, rib steaks, seafood, gourmet salads, ... Coffee break, gourmet break in front of the harbor boats at any time. The meals are done in terrace seen on the port or in room in an atmosphere with marine decors. Séverine welcomes you every afternoon and proposes a simplified map around a good Breton beer from the Philomenn house.
