Over the last 2 years we have come to enjoy our meals more in Paimpol having found this excellent restaurant. Good, attentive, friendly service and food almost without fault. Enjoyed lovely fish soup and gigot of lamb. It's not trying to be fancy but tasty and plentiful. You might just be restricted in you have a veggie in your group.... More

We popped in without reservation on Saturday evening and found the last table inside for two free. In windy March outside was not suitable. We had salade nicoise which was plentiful, enough for main course, and I had soup de poisson with side cheese and rouille to place on toast - that was delicious. For mains I had Aile de... More

As the title indicated, had a great lunch. Was with young toddler and the staff was super available and friendly! Had a great time and the food was really good in terms of quality and price. Good seafood!

Dinner was okay. Herring salad was huge and delicious. Best parts were the desserts- chocolate mousse and salted caramel crepe!

We had the three course 17€ menu. The starters were ok but my steak had to be sent back as it wasn't cooked as I'd asked and when it came back it was then overdone. We then had to wait ages before we were served our desserts and they weren't great. The staff are friendly but service was slow and... More

We had the daily menu and a salad: The food simply was from the level of a school kitchen. The location is great, the staff is effective but it was simply not worth it to eat there: just keep walking further!

Wide range of menus from 17euros upwards. Excellent cheese board - just help yourself to as much as you wanted. Similarly when we had rhum baba they just left the rum bottle for you to serve yourself. Gets very busy in evenings - best to reserve table.

We ate here for dinner one night and it was a mixed experience. I started with sardines which were good but my wife declared her mixed shellfish starter to be absolutely the best. Her skate was OK but my lamb was a bit strange and surprisingly tough and I was then informed that they had given me beef as they... More
