A great little restaurant well placed in Saint Emilion. Good food and service with an excellent wine list. Recommended!

Do not be fooled by the look of the place, we went for lunch yesterday (26th October) as the menu looked ok and child friendly. Once we were sat down it all went wrong, had to order a coke 4 times before it came and had to ask twice for a glass of wine. Then my father in laws main... More

A great stop if you're hungry and it's late. The couple that owns this restaurant, chef and hostess/server, do a really nice job. We were hungry on a Sunday night and ducked in for a bite. We had duck, chicken and nicely prepared vegetables. Excellent local wines and gracious service complimented our meal. We'll return.

Yes it is the best place in town to sit and dinner or just have a glass of wine BUT you will not get what you paid for. We ordered escargots and camenbert roti as an entree and it was like... the camenbert didnt come with honey and rosemary as told in the menu... the escargot came over a salad... More

After a really bad meal last night, where we felt we'd been totally ripped off, we walked down to Le Bouchon with a very open mind. Well we had no reason to worry - really friendly staff, huge portions, fresh ingredients, everything last night lacked. To start, I had the potato pancake with smoked salmon - it was huge, I... This place was hopping. We sat inside as it was a bit chilly. Good crepes and nice service, on the lower level of the town.

We should have known better but we made the error of choosing our favorite American sandwich in a French restaurant. We love chicken sandwiches; yes even the sort that one buys at Macdonalds. The restaurant was open air, crowded and the waitperson was kind and attentive but the food was pretty bad and expensive. To make things worse, a crown... More

On a hot day coming out of the Monolithic Church, it was an instant choice. Waiters hustle and try to please. Their wine list is huge, but the prices are ridiculously high and I can't help but wonder how many 1600€ bottles they sell!

Very good location, just in the middle of the Monolithic Church Square! Food is not excelent, but it is just what would need to have a quick lunch with some beers and enjoy the city. Service could be better, there are not bad, but few waiters to a lot of tables
